The serial number on this horn is “528266” making this a 1975-1980 vintage horn. There is a patch on the lead pipe in between the third valve and the lyre mount on the bell side. There are multiple points where you can clearly see the re-solders that happened, they are not messy just visible so we wanted to note them. This horn has just come back from the shop where most of the dents and dings were taken out and the horn was cleaned and flushed so the valves are nice and smooth. There is a bit more lacquer burning towards the slide tip. Please note the valve buttons are silver not lacquered and all three do match. There is a medium sized lacquer burn spot (both inside and outside on the bell) on the back of the bell. The heaviest wear can be found on the upper part of the bell and the bow. This King 2B Liberty valve trombone is a great horn with 50-55% of the original lacquer and medium wear over the entire horn.
